MENTALIZATION TOOLS

Inner resource cards, authentic conversation prompts and simple psychological tools to help you understand yourself — one small moment at a time.

Designed by a psychologist and psychotherapist to make deep work feel accessible, gentle and practical.

Mentalization-based tools that can be used alone, with a partner, or in small groups.

About Mentalization

Why the mind behind the moment matters

Mentalization gives us language, structure and compassion for what happens inside us and between us. The tools on this site are built on that idea.

What is Mentalization?

Mentalization is the ability to understand your own and others’ inner states — the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and intentions that shape behavior. It helps us look beneath the surface, staying curious rather than reactive, and making sense of what unfolds within us and between us. Instead of viewing behavior only as a series of actions, mentalization invites us to recognize the mind behind the moment — and why it matters.

Why Mentalization Tools?

Mentalization Tools were created to translate deep psychological concepts into simple, accessible practices. These tools help you slow down, explore your inner world, and strengthen emotional awareness in small, manageable steps. Whether you're looking for self-reflection prompts, inner resources, or meaningful conversations, the tools are designed to make psychological growth feel intuitive — and sometimes even playful.
